Experience a great day out during the ‘May’ holiday!
Attention sailors! Board now because it will be a great day out during the ‘May’ holiday. Join us on an adventure on the real sea ship Stortemelk. The ship departs at 11:00 am for a two-hour boat trip to the ‘Zee- en Haven Museum’ in IJmuiden. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch because you need to eat well on an adventure. At the Zee- en Haven Museum, you’ll learn everything about life at sea. You can learn how to tie knots, play captain in a real wheelhouse, dress up in an old diving suit, and learn signaling. If you complete the scavenger hunt correctly, you’ll receive a real sailor’s diploma too! With your diploma in hand, you can participate in the kids disco show with music and dance on the return journey to Amsterdam. So come aboard and have a fun day out!

| 10.30 | Boarding Stortemelk at Pier 14 (Steiger 14) behind Central Station. |
| 11.00 | Departure of the ship for a boat trip over the Amsterdam IJ and North Sea Canal to the ‘Zee- en Haven’ Museum in IJmuiden. During the boat trip, you will receive a delicious lunch consisting of two freshly baked sandwiches. |
| 12.45 | Arrival IJmuiden and short walk to the ‘Zee- en Haven’ Museum (accompanied the captain). |
| 13.00 – 15.00 | Visiting the Museum and/or the harbour and locks of IJmuiden. |
| 15.15 | Boarding Stortemelk in IJmuiden for the return journey. |
