Make a beautiful boattrip to the historic town of Hoorn.
Around 1:00 PM, you’ll arrive at the harbor of Hoorn at Oostereiland. Here you’ll also find the Museum of the 20th Century. This museum is a nostalgic delight, transporting you back to your grandparents’ or parents’ living room. In addition, there is a special LEGO exhibition and also the new exhibition “The Dutch Household.” This latest exhibition shows amongst others how people did the laundry and dishes, cooked and stored food in the last century. In short, a museum that’s enjoyable for both young and old.
After visiting the museum, you take a 20-minute city walk along the harbor of Hoorn to the bus pick-up point. The historic city bus from the NZH Transport Museum will then take you back to Amsterdam.
Come aboard and experience a mini vacation in the Netherlands this summer!
The journey is also offered in reverse (see the program above), where you first take the bus to Hoorn and then return by boat to Amsterdam.
